God’s Riches
As I read James 5:3, I look back over the past few years and how America has been struggling with Financial woes. How many feel that their personal worth is not at a standard that they are comfortable with. Often comparing themselves to others and what they may have. I can say that I was one of them until just recently when my life was turned upside down. At the time I looked at others who were still going out to dinner, buying IPads and other things they really don’t need but want and felt sorry for myself that I didn’t have what they had. I began praying to Jesus for help in sorting out all these mixed feelings I had. And this time really listened and realized that all the riches I need were given through him. I could collect all the silver and gold but if I didn’t have his grace I would be worthless on the Day of Judgment and remembered that we are not judged on our earthly possessions but what we did with the riches Jesus gave us.
