Just Show Up
We already know that the fight is fixed. We know that we can do all things through Christ that gives us strength. But we don’t know how to show up. We are living in times where it’s not enough to just have faith, but to activate that faith by doing the necessary steps that follow. If you take the first step then God can take the second and the third.
We can’t be just hearers of the word but doers as well. I love the scripture verse in James 1:22 that reads “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” People wake up your situation can not change through osmosis.
Don’t expect for the Heavens to literally open up and a large bag of money falls out of the sky. That does sound really good if we were living out a fantasy. James 2:14 says “What [does it] profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?”
Can your faith alone save you or do you have to put the time in? Do you have to put corresponding action to what you believe? Will you make a conscious decision to make whatever necessary adjustment to have the kind of life that you want to lead. To see the abundant future that God has in store for you. It is possible. What are you willing to sacrifice in the name of your faith? Will you show up for the fight?
