Don’t just talk about it… BE about it!

There are many people in the world who believe there is one God. They truly believe with all of their heart that God exists. For these individuals, God is REAL. The same God we worship and praise is the same God they believe in. They lean on him during tough times and can quote a verse of the Bible at the drop of a dime, but who are these people?

“They” may be your neighbors, friends, family, or co-workers. ”They” may also be the thief, liar, and adulterer. “They” may be you. “They” may be me. Anyone can believe in God, even the demons, according to James 2:19.

In fact, believing in God can be pretty easy. Believing doesn’t take a lot of work or sacrifice if you only treat your belief as a theory, but is there any glory to God if we just believe?

When it comes to believing in God, you have two choices – You can talk about it or you can be about it. As Christians, we should honor and praise God in all that we do, we should BE about God. Our actions should support our words and our belief. We have to act on our belief to ensure it doesn’t just become a theory. We should be proactive in our belief through our deeds and actions. Only then can we show what it really means to believe and be children of God.

An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory. –Ralph Waldo Emerson
