All Have Sinned
God is telling us to keep all of the laws, do what is expected and what is lawful. If we break one law we are a sinner, even if we obey all the other laws. Picking and choosing the laws we want to keep is not acceptable.
Our human nature is to drive as fast as we can without getting caught. As my son use to say as a teenager, there is a fine line between good and bad/right and wrong and I like to walk that line. Sometimes he would step over that line direction, always testing me and the consequences.
God expects our best! Not what is easy or what is convenient. God wants us as Christians to set an example and keep his laws.
Today most people have ideas that some sins are worse than others. God says all have sinned.
It is difficult for everyone, but we need to follow God, know his will for our life and let him be the one to judge and forgive others. Let us be the one to bring others to him. Let us be the people he wants us to be.
Help all of us God to live for you and ask for forgiveness of our sins.

Thanks Robin for your wise words this morning and sharing your valuable life experiences. Cool to see how God is using you in his grand plan. Great seeing you guys at CCC and getting the opportunity to know you is a privilege.
Welcome to CCC, Robin. Asking forgiveness for our sins is not always easy since we often don’t want to admit them. Then I’ve found that when I do confess my sins, I feel badly and condemn myself when God has forgiven and forgotten. I’ve learned that forgiving “self” is as important as asking God for forgiveness.
i am a law breaker, and read Jesus’ words that my righteousness must surpass that of the teachers of the law — those who created even more laws and regulations in order to keep the original ten! yikes. how do I do this as a law breaker? it must be beyond my doing, and onto what Christ has done. I must die, and let His righteousness live.
to your words, Robin, i keep coming back to life and crossing lines. ugh. for me, the only way forward as a law breaker, is to become a DEAD law breaker. Jesus and his amazing grace is the only way my righteousness can surpass the righteousness of the teachers of the law.
thanks for jumping into the fray here at CCC!
blessings,
