Are You Thirsty? What Quenches Your Thirst?

I carry around at least two bottles of water everywhere I go because I don’t now when I will need a drink. I can have coffee, and tea but there’s nothing that can quench my thirst like water. That’s how I feel about the presence of God. There is a longing and anticipation of a fulfillment that comes from just being with Him! Nothing else can satisfy this thirst

I have a hunger to seek him with more than just words to express my appreciation in praise and worship It has gone pass the point of thanksgiving over what He has done in my life. It exceeds far beyond my cries of supplication. Mt. 6:33

When a dear is moving around it constantly is looking for the next place to be refreshed. They get moisture from food, but when they smell water after a rainfall or get close to a creek, stream or water fall they climb to reach that place. That’s the only way I can reflect how it feels to seek God and find Him in places you’ve never been before. You don’t rest till you reach there. It brings a belief beyond the things you can see. It produces trust and courage to face any obstacle. It makes everyday challenges seem so small.. It produces peace that overshadows every circumstance. It brings about satisfaction in my soul. Dt. 4:29

It’s wonderful to have my prayers answered. It’s just not enough. I plan and prepare for this time. I long for the moment when I can slip away and be with HIM!! Somebody knows what I mean. A song writer wrote “Lord come fill my heart”. Whenever I listen to it I know I’m not the only one who has a thirst to quench. Is. 55:6

How do you seek Him? When do you seek Him? What do you seek Him for?
