Rest In God – At The Spa!!!

I was fortunate to spend the day the Chateau Élan (and did not have to pay so you know it was a gift from God!) While receiving my mud treatment, God spoke to me about what happens when we live life, find Him, and move forward – there must be a change.

The masseuse started with a salt scrub. As she worked on my entire body, certain parts started to get a little tender, almost raw. God showed me that this was life happening. Sometimes it hurts.

Next, a soothing mud was applied – as the mud touched the tender/raw spots, the pain went away. God showed me that this was how we often ease our own pain, with the “dirt” of the earth (ie. drugs, alcohol, work, etc.)

As I lay there, suddenly warmth came over me. The masseuse had wrapped me tight in a warm blanket. God explained that this was how comforting it feels when we find Him. I was so at peace I feel asleep.

The lights dimmed on and the masseuse announced that it was time for me to get up. Get up, I thought, I am too comfortable to move. As the lights dimmed brighter she explained, “but you are covered in dirt.” When God touches us and surrounds us in His love, we feel wonderful; but, we forget we are still in the dirt and muck of a life we created. A cleansing must come.

After the cleansing, the masseuse covered me in oil. Each spot that was previously tender/raw, covered in dirt, and then cleansed was fully nourished – healed by the oil.

The treatment came to an end. The masseuse led me away, guiding me down the hallway to back to the waiting room. As I arrived, those awaiting their treatment looked at me and saw the glow and said, “Whatever she just had; I want that!” What they saw was a rested, nourished, and healed person – what they saw was the transformation God had given me.
