Putting it all Together: The Beautiful Symphony of Co-operation That is Forward Motion
I love this verse. Being a Track & Cross Country coach, as well as a distance runner myself, I understand the enormous need of having healthy ligaments, joints and tendons. Without them, the strongest muscles will fail, the athlete cannot compete, the strong man can lift nothing, the fast runner will cease to run and the dancer cannot float.
In fact, very healthy functioning body parts will cease to be effective without the little things that tie them together to function in the beautiful symphony of co-operation that is forward motion.
When those connectors are injured, sore, inflamed or weak, the body can be rendered ineffective: ….sidelined…. even though the individual body parts may be healthy.
God’s word compares the Body of Christ (you and me) to the carious parts of the human body and explains that while they all have different purposes, they all must work together. That’s how He designed us to function.
Keeping this in mind, what connects you to others in the body of believers today? Do you “Feel” connected? Why or why not? What do you think can strengthen your connections and what is it that causes growth and strength? What are you doing today (as a body part) to support the other parts of The Body? Are you supporting and connecting?
Grace & peace to you this week! … & don’t forget to stretch.

Todd,
Thanks for the deeper view of many parts one body. Thanks for supporting.
Regards,
Phillip
