Nothing is more important in a community than simple “truth” – and yet, sadly, nothing is more regularly ignored. In a properly functioning body, harmony is always observed. The eye never deceives the hand, nor the hand the foot, nor the heart the lungs. The whole moves harmoniously as if the one could put the utmost confidence in the other – and falsehood in the church is just as destructive to its mission as it would be to the body if one member was continually deceiving the other.
So, let’s not be the part of His body that ruins the harmony. Truth will always build up the strength of the community. Let’s put off falsehood…let’s just be honest!
