God Writes the Rules

This is one of the most famous and confidence-building verses in the New Testament. All religions claim that through their teaching you can approach God, god, or gods. Paul teaches that the only door is through faith in Jesus, that being “in him” is the ticket. God demands perfection to be in His presence, and sees us as perfect when we’re “in Christ” because we’re forgiven.

With freedom…to me, this means whenever we want, without pre-conditions.

With confidence…to me, this means we know He’s listening, even if we don’t always instantly see or understand His response.

Compare this with your boss, the president of your company, your doctor, or your elected political representative! You can’t go see them whenever you want with no pre-conditions and expect them to be there for you. I guess I’m glad God writes the rules!
