Brought Near
The gospel is not a theory or a doctrine or even a teaching; it is Good News. This message is for everyone, “all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.” (Isaiah 52:10). Whether someone is near to God or far off, Jew or Gentile, salvation is available.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved,” (Romans 10:13) states Paul.
“For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him” (Deuteronomy 4:7).
“He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the Lord.” (Psalm 148:14).
“Peace, peace, to the far and to the near, says the Lord” (Isaiah 57:19).
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” (Isaiah 52: 7).
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13).
The prophecy of Isaiah has been fulfilled. The messengers have been sent out, the good news is being preached, the return from exile as at hand, and salvation is available to all.
From far and near we all are brought near to God by the blood of Christ.

Brother:
Thanks for the encouraging reminder that we have a God who makes himself available no matter where we are.
Appreciate you and all you do.
I’m at awe when I sit back and actually REALIZE that God, the Maker, the Father, the all-and-all, makes Himself available to me (I know me, my thoughts, my actions) I’m soooo not worthy in my own right. Nonetheless, He is right there waiting for us to call on Him.
Thanks for pointing us to HIM. For He alone is worthy.
