Troubled People
So I’m 16 I go to church I love God I try my best to be good but I’m not perfect I say stupid things I do dumb stuff. I’m figuring out what to be in life. Everyone has been or will be at this stage in life at some point. The path along the way is not always easy. Making the right decisions always doing what glorifies God isn’t easy it isn’t supposed to be. In any stage of life you need to have good wise friends who have your back. If you hang with a bunch of hooligans you will just fall into a hole of destruction in your life.
I’m not saying don’t speak to the troubled people you just need to be wise and strong show them how to live a fun life without doing things that will effect them, they need you. You have to love everyone and pray for them. We will all fall in life some worse than others it happens. With Gods wisdom and good friends the battles in life will be much easier. So Pray for Gods guidance pray for good friends to come into your life. Pray for your friends who are struggling. Prayer is power so stay with it. Love everyone it is hard not be hater. I struggle with it a lot but I pray for peace and it goes away.
Loren, your advice is applicable to every age group! You are wise beyond your years when you write, “With God’s wisdom and good friends the battles in life will be much easier.” How true. Thank you for reminding me to pray for my friends who are struggling.
I was blessed this morning with your devotion to God. You are right “Everyone has been or will be at this stage in life at some point. The path along the way is not always easy.”, Having been there and done that and still doing life with God your words of wisdom are not lost on me, Praying for the right friends (david and Johathan type) is a key. With strong friends around you you can then reach the not so lovely people. Hang in there.

Loren i am very proud of you i know you struggle, with who you hang out with. i never worry i know God is with you and guides your decisions. As your parents your mother and i can only teach you and let God do the rest and like God says put it in his hands and he will do the rest, i know God is with you, as the love you have in your heart as well as your honesty with what we all struggle with yet you have the wisdom and strength to admit what you as well as all of us struggle with. love dad
Loren, You are so amazing! You are a good friend, an awesome son, great brother and a man after Gods heart. You get it!!! Keep after it! Keep loving every person God sends your way, stand strong with your beliefs and love with that great big heart of yours. I am so proud of you and who you are . Being your Mom is beyond wonderful and I thank God for you everyday.

Good words. Thanks Loren. Once we start being offended easily, where comments, and actions are taken negatively, where we stereotype and apply a broad brush to groups of people in a negative way, we are well on the road to hatred. Then instead of reaching them with the Gospel, we become more interested in them being punished for what they do or did, or we take joy in their misfortune. Didn’t Jesus equate hatred with murder?
