Who Is In Charge
Six years ago, I lived in a small town in KY only miles from everyone in my family where I met my husband who lived just miles from everyone in his family. One afternoon, Rob came home from work and had decided that he would like to pursue a career in chiropractics which is what moved us to the Atlanta area. It was amazing to see how God orchestrates this plan for us to arrive in a city that neither of us had ever imagined we would live.
In that six years we have made some amazing friends and have some unexpected experiences which included a tour to iraq for my husband while I was pregnant. Then upon arriving home from Iraq, Rob had decided upon a career change which included a transfer in schools. Now as we are quickly approaching his graduation and his final months of serving in the military, we are faced with so many more new decisions. Do we stay? Do we go? Georgia? Tennessee? Kentucky? Should we sell our home? Should we rent our home? etc… etc… etc…
It is with these past and present situations that I have been encouraged to increase my prayer life to a new level. I have to daily be reminded WHO is in charge of these circumstances…. which is so refreshing! I am not, nor have or will I ever be in charge, so as long as I am living and abiding in Him…. God has this under control.
I am so excited to see what the next couple of years holds for our family. I am also anxious to look back again and see how all the puzzle pieces came together. It is always encouraging to me to know there are no coincidences with God. They are all steps in His master plan for our lives.

Acts 17… God has set the exact time and place where we are to live. Psalm 139… he has ordered and ordained our days.
Thanks Summer for waking me up this morning!!
(and… I personally hope God keeps you here in the ATL!)
blessings,
alan
Oh Heather….this is so true. I find often I turn it over to God, then take it back, turn it over, take it back. I think i’ve finally learned to give it to God and let him keep it. We love you guys and also hope it’s God’s plan to keep you in Atlanta. Hug Olivia for us. Bill and Norma
