Reminders Are Important

Today is April 8. (The day I wrote this devotion) Do you know how I knew? I knew the date because I pulled out my trusty 365 Prayer Calendar and prayed for the relief work being done in Chile and looking forward I see I will be praying for MOPS and Campbell teen moms when you read this devotional.

The prayer calendar is a great tool to REMIND me to pray not only for what is on that particular date but reminds me to pray for many other things as well. I need reminded to pray. On the side panel of the prayer calendar that you can pick up at the Welcome Desk is our theme for this year ACTS. Please review and look up the verse that goes with each word and have a great day of prayer.

ADORATION- Psalm 96

CONFESSION- Psalm 32:1-5

THANKSGIVING- Psalm 100:4

SUPPLICATION- Matthew 7:7-11

Thanks for reminding us that we need reminders for prayers. Another reason to have prayer journals, calendars, etc. Appreciate your widsom as always, brother.

My name is Robert Irvine I was born in 1952 on the hottest day on record in Guelph, Ontario Canada. I am a son of a watchmaker and a homemaker both of Scottish decent. I attended Culver City Bible School in L.A. and Emmaus Bible School in Chicago. I began ministry immediately after school and have served in many States and Canada for 35 years.
