A Heart Cleansing
August 12, 2004, I had a heart attack. August 30, 2004, I had triple by-pass surgery. Since then I have had numerous cardiac problems:14 stents, 20 heart caths and three bouts of pericarditis. During my surgery in 2004, I saw a very bright light. I know this was God telling me that He had plans for me. I never questioned Him, never saying “I don’t want to do this.” I feel much like the leper in this passage who chose not to question Jesus, but to obey, be blessed and then share his story. It was clear to me that God also wanted me to share my story: I was never alone during this journey, He promised me that he would not give me more than I could bare. I may not be heeled but I am cleansed, and I am cool with that. I am so glad to be His child. Thank you, Papa.

Mile thanks for your playing and witness to CCC. The thing that sticks out to me in the verse is “as they went” they were cleasned. I have to obey to recieve the blessing.
Thanks Mike…crazy to hear the story of all your heart procedures…blessed that you heard clearly from God and obeyed…and that you and Ginger are at CCC. Like Penny, the words in the verse that stick out to me are “as they went”. Not only do I need to obey by turning around and going somewhere/doing something to receive blessing…but it’s not necessarily, as Anna Kathryn would say “bibbidy, bobbidy, boop” and I’m instantly blessed, but it’s along the journey (“as I go”)…as I stay on the path He’s called me to…a working itself out. Very cool. Thanks again Mike.
Mike, you are way cool. Thanks for sharing your story, How blessed are you that you just believed and obeyed. Way to go!
Mike the story does sound like yours especially the part later on about thankfulness. I am so encouraged being around you because of your thankful and not woo is me attitude. We are all so healed matter of fact we are more than healed we are raised from the dead. Before Jesus we were dead with Jesus we are alive. Hang in there brother.
